The Springboks Sevens team returned to form with a 27-12 victory over Kenya in their second match at the Dubai Sevens on Friday.

The Blitzboks scored five tries against a hapless Kenyan team that came into the game with high hopes after drawing 19-19 with series champions Australia in their first game.

South Africa began their campaign on a low note earlier that day, losing 14-5 to Great Britain.



The Blitzboks, who have won the Dubai Sevens title nine times, delivered a far more polished performance in the second match.

South Africa’s final Pool A match is against Australia on Friday at 18:33 (SA time).
