According to reports, Springboks based in Japan will be available for South Africa’s final Test of the year against England at Twickenham.

The November 26th Test falls outside of World Rugby’s Test window, which means clubs are not required to release their international players.

Willie le Roux (Toyota Verblitz), Jesse Kriel (Canon Eagles), Damian de Allende (Wild Knights), Pieter-Steph du Toit (Toyota Verblitz), Lood de Jager (Wild Knights), Malcolm Marx (Kubota Spears), Franco Mostert (Honda Heat), Kwagga Smith (Shizuoka Blue Revs), and Faf de Klerk (Yokoham

According to the report, a final decision on the availability of the France-based Boks for the Twickenham Test has yet to be made.

Cheslin Kolbe (Toulon), Rynhardt Elstadt (Toulouse), Cobus Reinach (Montpellier), and Trevor Nyakane (Racing 92) could all be available.

Vincent Koch (Wasps), Jasper Wiese (Leicester Tigers), Andre Esterhuizen (Harlequins), and Handre Pollard (Leicester Tigers) will not be available for the England match.

The Boks will play Tests against Ireland, France, Italy, and England on their year-end tour. Midweek matches will also be played by a SA A team against Munster and Bristol Bears.

Springbok year-end tour schedule for 2022:

South Africa vs. Ireland, Saturday, November 5 (Dublin – Aviva Stadium)

Thursday, November 10: SA A vs. Munster (venue TBA)

Saturday, November 12 (Marseille – Stade Vélodrome): South Africa vs. France

Thursday, November 17th: SA A vs. Bristol Bears (Bristol – Ashton Gate)

Saturday, November 19th: South Africa vs. Italy (Luigi Ferraris Stadium, Genoa)

Saturday, November 26th: South Africa vs. England (London – Twickenham)
