Lauren Alaina And Jon Pardi Smash It Off!

The CMT Music Awards are a night of country music and collaborations! Lauren Alaina graced the red carpet for tonight’s big event as she prepared to go on Florida Georgia Line’s “I Love My Country” tour this summer.

The singer looked stunning in a one-of-a-kind look before her highly anticipated performance with Jon Pardi on the Ram Trucks Side Stage. She wore a black chic jumpsuit with a silver sequin top on one side and a ruched tulle fabric that went into a skirt on the other. Lauren Alaina is the only person who could pull this off! The singer styled her hair in a sleek top knot with a long side bang for the video for “Getting Good.”

In addition to Jon and Lauren’s collaboration, the CMT Music Awards are jam-packed with major collaborations. Keith Urban played with Fleetwood Mac, while Lady A, Carly Pearce, and Lindsay Ell will put on a show of their own.

All The Exciting Collaborations!

Mickey Guyton appeared on BRELAND, followed by Gladys Knight later in the show. Chris Stapleton performed alongside H.E.R. in a genre-bending performance. Similarly, NEEDTOBREATHE performed with Carrie Underwood. Kelsea Ballerini, the show’s host, had hyped up the premiere of her new song with LANY’s Paul Klein, which they performed at the show.

Fans were excited to see Maren Morris perform her top-charting song “Line By Line” live with JP Saxe. But she had to cancel the show at the last minute due to a “scheduling conflict,” she announced on June 9th. “I will not be performing at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday due to a scheduling conflict,” Maren wrote on her Instagram Story. “I’m confident that @jpsaxe will slay it, and I can’t wait for his album to be released!” Ingrid Andress will take her place and perform with JP.

The 2021 CMT Music Awards aired on CMT at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 9th, with a five-channel simulcast on MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, and TV Land.
