Banyana Banyana, the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations champions, will play an international friendly against Australia in the United Kingdom next month.
The game will take place in London on Saturday, October 8 at 13:30 (SA time), with the venue to be announced later.
“Australia and New Zealand will co-host the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023.
“Coming so soon after our match against Brazil, this provides us with an opportunity to correct our mistakes while also testing and challenging us.
“It is another opportunity for players to improve their performance and raise their hands.
“We are really excited. We would like to express our gratitude to SAFA and SASOL. They promised to get our opponents ready for the game.
